We're all riddled with insecurities that we mask like they don't exist.
When we state our insecurities about something, even as a joke, they are still one hundred percent real. We are actually seeking reassurance that whatever it is we are thinking, isn't actually so.
We need to feel like our doubts aren't relevant. Some people are better at hiding their insecurities than others, but it's those people that hide it the most that have the most difficult time dealing with them.
